Projects that engage diverse stakeholders are at the core of my work. The following is a list of the projects I am currently working on. If you are interested in getting involved in one of these projects or collaborating on a new project please reach out.
Just Language in Ecology Education – Project Leadership
Just Language in Ecology Education is a national effort to build a community of educators and scientists who are using cycles of inquiry to explore the language of ecology education through a cultural and scientific lens. Our intention is to create a set of materials and activities that will provide best practices and guidance for the community of ecology education practitioners.

Wednesday Morning EcoExpeditions – Project Leadership
The Wednesday Morning EcoExpeditions are an opportunity for children to step outside and explore in a way that balance play with purpose. These half day learning experiences will lead to wellness, fun, and new relationships as we use eco-themed activities to explore the nature in our city, learn about ourselves and each other, and build a better relationship with the world around us.

Urban Ecologist Workforce Development Program – Program Management
We manage the Urban Ecologist program in collaboration with the Seneca Park Zoo Society and the City of Rochester Department of Recreation and Human Services. This program is designed to cultivate workforce readiness, an ethic of stewardship, and capacity for civic action.

Douglass Campus Outdoor Learning Environment – Project Management
As part of their student voice committee work students at Northeast Prep in the Rochester City School District expressed a desire for an improved outdoor environment. In response to this desire students, teachers, administrators, and community partners have worked together to create a food garden, two outdoor classrooms, a lunch space, and a performance / yoga deck this spring.
